Two Sisters and John: John 9-10

Sister Time!!  We sit down for another deep dive into Scripture — this time into John chapters 9 and 10.
We’ve read these chapters multiple times, dug into trusted commentaries, and even called up our pastors for help understanding how Jesus’ words and actions still speak powerfully today.

What does it mean to really see — spiritually?
What kind of Shepherd is Jesus, and what kind of sheep are we?
And how would Jesus respond to the world we’re living in now?

We wrestle with those questions and how we long to live more like Jesus into every moment of this discussion.

Here are 5 biblical truths we unpack from John 9 & 10:
  1. Jesus sees what others overlook – (John 9:1-3) The man born blind wasn’t cursed; his healing would display God's glory.
  2. Religious status doesn’t equal spiritual sight – (John 9:39-41) Some who claimed to "see" were actually blind to truth.
  3. Jesus is the Good Shepherd – (John 10:11) He lays down His life for the sheep — not out of obligation, but love.
  4. His sheep know His voice – (John 10:27) We can learn to hear, trust, and follow the voice of our Savior.
  5. No one can snatch us from His hand – (John 10:28-29) Jesus offers eternal security and belonging to those who follow Him.
This episode is for anyone who wants to dig into the Word in a real, approachable way — and discover how ancient truths still shape our lives today.
